The Medway Democratic Town Committee strives to stay informed on local, state and national issues and candidates. Below are resources so you can be educated and active. As Bob Ferrari likes to say: We need all hands on deck!
Local
While we have not taken formal positions on in-town issues, we are monitoring the replacement of artificial turf high school football field. Town Meeting rejected the replacement, but was overwhelmingly supported at the 2025 Spring Town Meeting.
MNW Action Hub
Across the Metrowest-Norfolk-Worcester area, we are standing up, speaking out, and taking action in record numbers. With massive rally crowds and sold-out events, it’s clear we have passion and momentum. This group was created to work more efficiently across the many local groups responsible for this surge in activism.
We recommend that you sign up for MNW Action Hub email list. They do a great job at listing local events, as well as other info.
Progressive Mass Western Norfolk County
Looking ahead, they are working on putting together small-group trainings based on what they have learned from Indivisible’s One Million Rising and Rep Pramila Jayapal’s Resistance Lab Training sessions. Stay tuned for more on this!
Ranked Choice Voting
Mendy has begun organizing in Medway for Ranked Choice Voting. If you are interested in helping out our if you want more information, please contact info@medwaydems.com
State
Information on our state elections including dates, candidates and voting, is on the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s website.
Indivisible
Indivisible is a good email list to be on for action items. You can also visit their website and follow them on social media. They are leading a lot of the major nationwide calls to actions. There are also local groups that are affiliated with Indivisble, such as Western Norfolk County Progressive Mass and Franklin’s COPD. The Medway DTC works with both of these groups.

Call Elected Officials
The Five Calls website makes it very easy to call your elected representatives and make your voice heard. This would be especially effective to share with our allies in red states.
