The Medway Democratic Town Committee strives to stay informed on local, state and national issues and candidates. Below are resources so you can be educated and active. As Bob Ferrari likes to say: We need all hands on deck!
Local
While we have not taken formal positions on in-town issues, we are monitoring the replacement of artificial turf high school football field. Town Meeting recently rejected the replacement, and we are hoping that natural grass fields are seriously considered.
State
Information on our state elections including dates, candidates and voting, is on the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s website.
Volunteer opportunities:
- Massachusetts Democrats Organizing Hub Phone Banking – Hosted by the Campaign Services Committee of the Massachusetts Democratic Party, and open to people anywhere who want to volunteer. Sign up!
- MetroWest Blue & Beyond – Volunteer and/or Donate. In this election cycle (2024), MWBB is supporting organizations in the key swing states of Arizona, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania.

PROJECT 2025 – Be informed!
You have most likely heard of Project 2025, a “road map for tyranny” developed by ultra-right-wing zealots to undermine our Constitution, our institutions of governance, the rule of law, and the fundamental rights and freedoms all Americans now have. These zealots would install political loyalists to replace non-political Civil Service employees to create an immensely strong Executive Branch; bolster the rightward direction of the Judicial Branch; and gut the ability of the Legislative Branch to perform its oversight and law-making job as a co-equal branch of government.
Some of the Project 2025 goals and actions have already been gained, like capture of the Supreme Court, rollback of Roe v. Wade, and beginning to dismantle the powers of Cabinet-level agencies.
