Monthly Democratic Town Committee Meeting at the Senior Center.
7 - 9 pm

Please join us at our next meeting on Wednesday, January 14th, 7 p.m. at the Senior Center.

This month we’re happy to welcome several members of the Massachusetts Democratic State Committee to discuss issues that have been popular topics of conversation at our meetings. We’ll hear about what’s happening at the state level and gain a better understanding of the vision and plans of our party at the state level.  The following committee members will try to attend:

  • John Bowman
  • Mark Lannigan
  • Jack Lewis
  • Norma Shulman
  • Paul Yorkis

Please share this information with anyone who might be interested in learning about our state committee directly from some of the members elected to represent us.

Other Agenda Items:

  • The Medway Democratic Caucus will be held on Saturday, February 28, at 10 a.m. to elect delegates to attend the 2026 Democratic State Convention. Delegates will be voting to determine which state-wide candidates appear on primary ballots.   The 2026 Convention will be held in Worcester on May 29 and May 30.
  • Norfolk District Attorney Debate / Forum (coordinated with other towns)
  • Saturday, January 24, Citizens Bank Protests - CB is financing for-profit prison companies included CoreCivic and the GEO group which are the largest operators in ICE detention.  More details later.
  • Tuesday, January 20 at 7 p.m. Franklin.  Heather Yountz, and immigration attorney and advocate, will share clear legal context and practical non-violent ways to support immigrant neighbors.   RSVP at Mobilize.
